how is this different than lightning invoice with extra steps?
It’s just another no kyc option that you don’t even need to sign up for. Every npub can receive payments.

The tech seems pretty cool here, but explanation/marketing is so off

Spending time on Farcaster I notice how quickly people bootstrap projects out there and they turn out to work really well from both marketing and tech
Last month alone there are countless projects launched that are pretty awesome and make money for people.
I think that what’s missing on nostr, zaps are cool but lightning has its issues and that the only currency we have with expensive on/off rails
