I didn’t consent to the security cameras either. But states gonna state and I guess some people gonna surveillance.

Doesn’t make it ethically sound.

Why not? It's just a more permanent version of people being able to remember what they see in public

I hope Digit doesn't hate me for posting the song she sent me privately. I also posted like 2 pictures of her but they were only ones she already posted publicly. I would have been obeying her wishes to not mention her at all (let alone post her stuff) if she didn't leave me thinking she might be dead. Hopefully you'd say not all situations are the same? Idk

Idk anything about digit and what she has and hasn’t consented to… sounds like a personal matter and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with retweeting a picture

For example, sometimes my moto friends repost pictures of me at moto events that I posted first and they’ll tag me and put me on stories etc… that makes sense and is IMO consent to distribution of photos

But simply existing and being photographed… well when that happens to me (sometimes it does, I get it) but if someone posted it to Instagram I’d be a little more like “eh” and if someone posted it to a P2P protocol I’d feel even less good about it…

However this is why I don’t dox myself at public events

I don’t think it’s okay to take pictures of random people in public that don’t know you’re taking pics of them and then post them to nostr bashing them when you have no idea who they even are or what they’re thinking or they’re intentions for existing across from you

Complete violation

Thank you for discussing this

I'm fully on board with your point now đź’Ż

What song did digit share with you that you posted?
