You should know your own personality at least. But I guess if you have the personality of someone who would react poorly to critique after asking for it, you wouldn't be aware of it 🤭

Any piece of critique is like a gift. It pays to be polite and thank the person who gave it to you.
But you're in no way obligated to use a gift, and you don't have to act on any feedback or suggestions you get from others.
"Smile and say 'Thank You.'" on reception. What's more devastating to a gift giver is not to be berated during the giving, but to learn much later that you never kept the gift at all.
