I don’t think a publicly traded company would ever self custody their bitcoin. Just doesn’t make sense for a giant entity like that
Why not? Is this an unwritten rule or is there something preventing them from doing it?
To the best of my knowledge, Tesla doesn't use a custodian for their bitcoin holdings and holds all their corn.
Where did you see that? It’s my understanding any publicly traded company has some sort of custodian
I haven't encountered any info indicating they don't self custody. Everything I find shows they hold their own keys.
