Sometimes ya just gotta go. Even if it's just a short trip.
I got really into foraging during the pandemic, and have spent the last year or so getting more on the homesteading side. I need to take some foraging hikes soon. Man cannot live off white button caps alone.
No, they cannot. Amazing why you can find here in the PNW, too. Only done a couple hikes on that side. I'd really like to do the Appalachian trail.
If you do, you’ve gotta stop by in Asheville for a drink. We have a heinous amount of breweries.

Love the east coast mountains. Totally different vibe than we've got out here. Two different beauties.
I’ve only seen the Rockies when I’ve flown over them and never any on the actual west coast.
My favorite facts about the Appalachian mountains are that they’re older than bones, so there are no fossils, and that it’s the same mountain range as the Scottish highlands. They just feel…old.
