v1.16 is named after Rop Gonggrijp
Rop, a pioneering Dutch hacker and activist, is co-founder of XS4ALL, one of the first internet service providers dedicated to freedom of information and digital rights. His influential work includes significant contributions to privacy protection, encryption technology, and advocating against surveillance and censorship. He was key in exposing security vulnerabilities in electronic voting machines that lead to its abandonment in the Nethelands.

I'm not an Alby rep, but they said in their Discord that your custom lightning address will remain even if you don't pay for Pro.
Yes, we don't take away custom lightning addresses. We only restrict changing it in this case if you don't have Pro yet.
During the installation process of Alby Hub you can select other backends (e.g. LND) . The default and quickest way is Alby Hub with its integrated lightning node for which we can provide the best backup and restore service.
Installations on Umbrel or Start9 might look slightly different because of the underlying operating system.
