The current wallet UX on Damus could be improved imo.

Right now wallet connect is in its own setting. When I select WoS under zap settings, it still uses the alby connection.

It seems the only way to pause the wallet connect is to disconnect it.

Ideally, at least in my mind, wallet connect should be in the wallet settings and alby as an option. Since they are the only ones who seemed to have implemented this atm, perhaps have a toggle for one tap zaps that then shows the alby option and explains how one tap payments work.

Thoughts?

Agreed. I’d put the wallet icon on the top right, with also the availability to display the amount of sats in your wallet. The display could also be hidden with an eye icon, whenever you take screenshots or if you are scrolling Damus in public 💜

Home tab only, as both DM and Notifications tab have the “Friends only” icon there, and Global has the “Filter” icon
