Why have I been forced to listen to commercials when listening to podcasts on your platform? They drove me to use other options many months ago, when you had been my go-to choice.
Is it because I refuse to pay for a subscription..?
You market yourself as a V4V platform, but are forcing me to pay to avoid ads, same as Pandora & other fiat platforms do!
I doubt its a thing from fountain.fm . They can only publish the audio the podcaster puts out on the aggregater. I hear adds from joe rogan on the joe rogan podacast and hallow on jordan peterson.
I also have the ability to press fast forward which is handy.
When I download the podcasts I don’t get any adverts unless they are baked into the episode by the podcaster.
The thing is i doubt any podcasters (who have sponsors) do another version export of their pods without ads for the v4v community, so in the end we get the ads anyway 😭
Any ads that you hear in the podcasts you listen to on Fountain are inserted by the podcaster, not by Fountain.
