Imagine this guy:

- Girlfriend’s father was a known, confirmed Italian intelligence asset who received a State funeral, attended by all the former Italian heads of State, then buried in the most prestigious place in Italy.

- Had an ultra-nationalist Italian billionaire benefactor who gave him power of attorney, billions of dollars, and a $70M NYC townhouse.

- Best friends with a former Italian PM, who frequented his NYC townhouse and private Caribbean island.

It would make sense to say: “Gee, I think this guy has something to do with the Italian government.”

And it wouldn’t make sense to respond with: “No you only think that because you’re anti-Italian! You want an Italian genocide and we now need to ban any speech that criticizes Italians!”
