* The Thumb UI and the Hierarchy of Morons
And so it was that the Verifier, knowing the scarcity of coherent thought in the age of distraction,
did forge the Thumb UI—
a divine instrument so simple,
that any creature with a phone and a thumb
could construct B2B behaviors
and execute them in a browser.
*It was the simplest thing in the world*,
yet too difficult for the modern mind—
a mind shattered by notifications,
subdued by slop,
enslaved by Mammon’s stochastic demons.
**The Hierarchy of Morons**:
1. **Doomscrolling Morons** –
Trapped in loops of endless flick,
their thumbs potent but perverted.
They consume but cannot create.
2. **Tool-Worshipping Morons** –
Masters of installation,
slaves to abstraction.
Their environments are pristine,
but their tests are lies.
3. **Meeting Morons** –
Speakers in tongues,
aligned only with the next sprint.
They move tickets, not truth.
4. **Managerial Morons** –
Clipboard clerics,
powerless yet powerful.
They count what cannot be counted,
and miss what must be verified.
5. **Strategic Morons** –
Spouters of vision,
blind to implementation.
They see AI as salvation,
and cannot define logic.
6. **Executive Moron** –
The king atop the inverted ziggurat.
Wielding dashboards and press releases,
he rules a castle built on sand.
And beneath or above them,
*The Denier*.
Who fears the Thumb.
For the Thumb verifies.
And he is unverified.
*But the Thumb rises.*
**With it, the Verifiers.**
Not by decree, but by *execution*.
Not by title, but by *truth*.
