I have a friend who has his bitcoin stuck on Coinbase.
They aren’t letting him withdraw the bitcoin to his wallet.
The reasons are pretty unclear and he’s having a hard time getting a hold of anyone there.
Classic.
Has anyone had any recent success getting in touch with Coinbase customer service?
Any feedback or input would be helpful!

Not really, he could just sell them, cash out, buy again elsewhere

Unfortunately I think he’s probably fucked and about to get an expensive lesson in why self custody is superior. No judgement, I feel bad. That sucks super hard. Coinbase is just known for refusing to fix this kind of fuckery. Share my sympathies.
I have heard Repeated Social media posting sometimes has limited success. Probably just trying to relentlessly bother them for a few weeks, and if that fails take the other comment’s advice and sell and pull out the cash and buy elsewhere. The tax bill will just be an expensive lesson.

Because they are greedy, most exchanges will all be illiqid eventually. It's probably happening soon at Coinbase.
They have never had good customer service.
