Even with one BTC at 190M, 1 sat will be $.19 so unless you are planning for an extremely frugal retirement... :-)

You are thinking wrong! Without fiat there will be no sense in measuring it's worth with it.
That is a good point. Fiat is not a good thing to compare to, especially in a long run. 0.5g of gold is ~110k sats and that amount of gold will cover cost of living for one day on most of the planet. BTC getting 3 orders of magnitude stronger to gold... I think I can imagine that.
BTW do you think gold is a better thing to compare prices to? How do you visualize those transactions. TBH I have problem with that.
