Honestly my network grew like crazy after having a kid. Way more than if I stayed single. I bought a house for first child. It doubled in value in two years.

I worked a little harder at a job I didn't like instead of working over seas for pennies like I had planned. My salary basically tripled.

I can go out to eat every night no problem. I don't because I can't control the nutritional value that way but I could.
