Not zero. It's a CDS on bitcoin. The more valuable bitcoin becomes, the more valuable the default protection becomes. It would be the best money to save in if bitcoin didn't exist.
But gold definitely going lower in bitcoin terms while bitcoin exists.
Can someone please explain Solana? Why is it an exception? Why is it not trending to zero yet?
With the proliferation and fragmentation of Ethereum L2s creating complexity, it is seen by some as the next smart contract platform to gain wide adoption. It has significantly higher TPS thanamny other L1, which should allow scaling the main chain.
It has institutional interest brewing. Eg, Visa is developing there. Personally, i have no particular love for SOL, but I'll look into anything that will let me stack more sats

Genuine question, what does gold do better than bitcoin besides having that track record? Bitcoin possesses all good things about gold and none of its downsides.
People started riding horses approximately 6,000 years ago as well. Since the first car was made, it took about 50 years for the full shift from horse to car. I doubt gold will ever make any comeback versus bitcoin, except for the relatively short btc bear periods.

Seems like it's been bottoming out for a few years.
When #btc reaches it's stable value , everything else will be near zero. Thus all you need to live is say 100 K sats , give or take ! .. #stackSats
This comes across as an insecurity post.
Actually, Gold has been relatively flat for the last 12 years or so, but currently it is ATH. It seems really odd that it's price is rising along with the stock market. Might the bubble be ready to pop?
