It's enshrined in the Irish constitution and they had a referendum to remove it.

They framed it as a sexist thing because it says "a woman shall not be forced to work to the neglect of her duties in the home".

It doesn't mean that she has to be a housewife, but rather that she should not have to choose between working and being a homemaker, it is realising the special importance of the homemaker.

They tried to trick the Irish public into removing it and we told them to go fuck themselves.

The Taoiseach (Prime Minister) resigned as a result of it, it was scandolous. Every NGO, all the media and all government officials were pushing for a yes, and yet the entire country, 75%, said no.

It was clear as day from that moment onwards, that the government is completely and utter out of step with the Irish public and work unianimously against their interests.

In other words, an enemy.
