Your dreams, hopes, etc are not metaphysical?
All of these functions of electrical activity in the brain will probably soon be replicated in artificial brains.
The electrical signals are separate from thoughts.
Remember, your body doesn’t have a spirit. Your spirit has a body.
There is no 'spirit', everything you see and hear is a product of electrical impulses in your brain.
So we’re robots that have no real decision making over our lives?
