Probably a stupid question, but I’ll ask regardless….

Does a miner’s share (the best share difficulty specifically) improve with more hash rate? I have a #BitAxe Supra and Ultra running. The Supra has a higher hash rate than the Ultra, but the Ultra’s best share difficulty is higher than the Supra’s. Is that odd, normal, or it doesn’t matter because it’s all luck and lottery anyway?!? 😬😔 #asknostr #BitAxeArmy

Finding a share with a high difficulty is pure “luck” you could even use a cpu or gpu to mine and may be lucky but very unlikely

Another question, cuz I'm thinking of getting a bitaxe - are there pools that will actually pay the tiny amount of sats one bitaxe can earn? Cuz if I understand it correctly, they have minimum thresholds to accumulate before they'll pay you.

Some pools have optional lightning payouts which happen daily. But it doesn't make a lot of sense to use a bitaxe like this.

K, I'll look for that. I've been thinking of getting one just to learn.

I wouldn’t consider using a BitAxe for an actual pool to receive daily sats.

Yeah, I've realized that. But will still try for a day just to try everything out

The higher your hashrate the bigger your chance becomes of scoring a high difficulty. When your diffitculty score is above the network difficulty you will find a block.
