The Next Step is a multi-generational mortgage you can give to your children and they'll accept it gratefully because it will be impossible to get one on your own. I thought it insane when they were talking about the Japanese accepting that. Of course that keeps you from moving away to a different town so you're still in the 15 Minute City box where you were born.
