e2e is great, but it's currently not very private, for example everyone can see you exchange messages with another pubkey.

E2EE will be okay for most people since the content of the communication is unreadable. Hopefully one party doesn't compromise it.

But I agree. Being able to encrypt metadata and destinations will be great, ...if programmers figure out a practical way to implement it 🙁

But others can see who you're chatting with (only the pub key, nothing more).
