To anyone who found me because I use the #prepper or #prepping, it's probably not as exciting as you've been led to believe.
It means being prepared to take care of yourself and your family. This means farming, sewing and mending, community building, cooking and preserving food, fixing things around the house, rainwater collection, and things like this.
It may involve stereotypical activities like hunting and first aid, but that's the only a small part of it.
If your plan is to use guns alone to survive, you are not prepared. Your only plan is to leech off people who are prepared. Don't be that guy.
