They're not worried about inflation from tariffs. They're helping their buddies out and maintaining the incentive for loanable funds to keep flooding into the fiat system for the moment, for whatever ends they are pursuing. It is clear to me that the MAGA movement is rewriting many aspects of how the dollar monetary order works and may seek to destabilize the Fed, or to reorient it to work more in line with either (A) a new strategy for the banking cartel and establishment or (B) an up and coming faction in the political machine trying to become the new establishment. Probably a bit of both since so many of these douchebags are unprincipled and so easy to buy or fool.
