We were using a devotional book with our sons, but now that my eldest is off to college, we are just using my younger son's (who has Down Syndrome) Awana Trek book and bible summaries for our devotions. We started doing it because there is so much for him to do and memorize to keep up with the other kids for whom it is easier, but I have been very happy with the depth of the studies. We also have a book of missionaries (mostly those supported by our church but also several that we support) that we rotate through praying for them along with our regular prayers. I love the idea of including hymns, but 2 out of 3 of us can't sing at all, so it isn't as worshipful as it could be.
