I totally understand. I watched my mom (from my vantage point) run herself into the ground trying to “do the right thing” by her family members, co-workers, and friends. It felt like all they did was take but in the end… her conscience was clear and her reward received in heaven.
What you do for you isn’t everyone’s business, especially those who have shown you time and again they don’t prioritize your needs, wants, or desires. Your parent’s only job was to bring you into the world… anything else was a kindness. Whether they were good to you or bad to you it’s impacted you but it doesn’t define you. You define yourself. You’re utilizing bitcoin to make your life better, you’re aligning yourself with a strong currency so when things inevitably break you have something that’ll keep you afloat. You’re working for something real and I’m so proud of you. I’m so happy for you.
The crab in the barrel mentality has caused damage to so many. That’s why you can’t let your right hand know what your left hand is doing. Make your moves in silence so nobody has any ammunition to use against you. It’s hard allowing people to think what they want about you but in the end you win. You are on top and you’re in control of your life.
Look, people are people. Their jealousy and insecurities are often times projected onto the ones they’re supposed to love to substantiate the hate they hold within themselves. You can choose to allow it to affect you or you can pick yourself up, learn the game they’re playing, and refuse to play it any longer. I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with their abuse. I’m sorry you’re being toyed with and your hard work has been dismantled. I’m also excited for you to stand strong in your resilience and rebuild. The beautiful thing about building things for yourself is that you have the capacity to do it again with the knowledge you gained from last time.
It’s sucks but you’re incredible and you will succeed in all you do.
