I don’t want a war but I see where you are coming from. Politicians will understand the real implications but they are more difficult for regular folks to grasp.
Politicians will need to fabricate an excuse to go to war. They can’t go to war on “they don’t trade with US dollars anymore”.

US was able to start their sidechain wars in last 20 years because they targeted midsize, mediocre - important emerging market countries. And US people didn't bother enough.
