So #Nostr How would you explain a zap to a non Bitcoin person?

I’m trying to explain Zaps to one of my editors for an article I’m writing.

He says we should call them Nostr transactions.. I’m like well firstly no, coz they’re called Zaps.

And they’re more like donations or direct funding. “Transactionl feels funny.

It’s all part of the value4value… economy which I’m now having to explain.

Help?
