I strongly believe that an ego can make or break you.

Typically, whether on the matt or in the real world, either can lead to serious injuries or death.

I have witnessed people lost consciousness or broken bones.

Ego can be a bitch.

One of my friend’s who was a professional boxer back in the day once said: “heart will get you hurt” and that shit resonated. So true.

So true.

My 2nd last comp I went to some guy broke his finger sideways, got it taped by a medic then rebroke it. He still lost, but I'm like my guy it's a cheap medal, don't you have work tomorrow?

The last comp I went to the guy I beat later got choked out. I thought he had his foot broken but they were just trying to help him regain conscious by elevating his feet. Tsk tsk.
