I love people.

My wife and I were sitting at a restaurant eating pasta, and two girls sitting at the table next to us asked where why we picked this as our vacation.

We all chilled for an hour and then walked together for a couple miles, to the city’s best gelato spot, the. walked back to the city center, and made a couple of nice new friends.

Boston is a bit “stuffy” - making friends with strangers is possible, rare. NYC is way easier, but definitely weirder too. (In a good way, overall).

This was a perfectly flowing, wonderful conversation with people we may never see again but chose to spend three hours hanging out with.

Is all of Europe like this?

Like what? Boston or New York?

Ah, what I meant is whether all of Europe is like this little Italian city

I realize the OP didn’t specify lol

Bos & nyc are different than Europe it seems

Europe is not like this in places that are massively touristy, which is understandable (at least to some extent)

Those two girls are Pura Vida 🤙💜

They sure were! My wife got their numbers and we’re planning for lunch this week lol

I haven’t spent a ton of time in Europe. Venice, Bavaria and Paris. I think that’s it. But haven’t had many new-friend experiences here until now. It was a bit mind blowing lol

That’s nice! You now have a couple of local friends that can show you some neat places 👏

100%

So nice 🤙
