I heard this said about prayer and it hit me hard:
"If we don't want to spend 5 minutes with god today what makes us think we want to spend eternity with him? So that you don't go to hell? That's not salvation."

Failing to spend time in prayer is evidence of unbelief. What you do when no one is watching is who you are. Being remade is not easy, we don't naturally want God's help, we just want to be left alone. But God is good, he won't leave us alone.
Prayer is a call from God. When you love him you naturally pray, like when you love your mother you naturally pick up her call.
