I hope you are all enjoying your weekend, here in the States it is Memorial Day weekend, a day in which we are supposed to reflect on all those who lost their lives in “service to our country”. Understand, I put this in quotes, not to disparage or diminish their sacrifices, but to highlight the utter betrayal of “our” elected officials who so flippantly send us to war.
I hope we here have a reflective memorial day, where we truly think on & honor the sacrifices that have been made. I hope that upon this reflection we move closer to a future with ‘Happy Memorial Days’ , where none of these sacrifices are recent & no more are lost in wars for foreign nations or global banks.
