I'm gonna be honest with you guys.

Even though I am quite the fan of Hans-Hermann Hoppe's, I am an agorist at heart. Don't get twisted, I do really enjoy his ideas of covenant communities and the private law society. However, the only issue that these have is that they are hard to enforce at this moment because for them to survive and be implemented, they rely on permission from the State. Americans have not had freedom of association for at least 60 years at this point, and for Hoppean ideas to be used, freedom of association must be extended to support freedom of disassociation.

It is for this main reason that I am more in favor of counter-economic activities through the gray and black markets. The markets are already available, so why not utilize them? This does not mean I oppose Hoppean (or ancap ideas in general), I just think they are more like a guide to be used after the State is eliminated.
