Yes, but one of the very few things you need to do to minimize cancer risks is not to snack. Use japanese snacks as appetizers and eat plenty (of proper food, not of appetizers) when you eat at all.

Brief starving in between meals is necessary for the cells of the entire body.

Japanese generally use shitty refined oils in everything and the shrimp flavored potato chips are disgusting.

but as a general rule, the food is pretty amazing.
