The “Fab Lab” is coming along. Been a little slow because of weather and family reasons. I am getting back to the siding.

I will look into the two people you posted about. I am very passionate about helping people learn skills that have been lost by most people. I am open to different ideas.

As far as the furniture goes. That is something I spent many years doing. If you send me a picture, I can give you some direction. Thanks for everything!

this is so pretty as it is. you are like the neighbor i always wished i had lol. If you want to know more abt the work they did just drop me a msg. on the chest drawer, i need to empty it, tilt it and take pics. i do want to sand it down and change the varnish to black and add rustic locks to give it an old feel. maybe when i find the time to do this will send you the pics. i appreciate it!

Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words.

From what I can understand from your explanation of the chest of drawers, the stability depends on how you make the joints and possibly stiffeners. Also, in furniture restoration the kind of glue is very important. I tend to use two part epoxy for old joints. Epoxy doesn't need tight fitting joints. It can fill gaps. If gaps get too big, thickeners can be added.

When you are ready you can send me pictures and I can give better advice.
