you need something to hold it steady while the concrete sets i think, probably colud do it with wire and some stakes, assuming there isn't any beasts running around nearby that might bump it in the first 6 hours or so

Already poured, like framing out rooms in my shop with round wood.

idk, man, seems like you probably gonna have to gouge out the concrete to let you drop the pole a foot or more into the base to make it work

every time i hear impact drills on concrete and jackhammers what my thought is these days "this is people building without an architect, pour concrete, lay bricks, then think, oh wait, i need to attach this other thing"

how in the hell do you get to putting foundations in without a plan for what is gonna go on top, may i ask?
