I don't disagree. The trick is that the American people voted in a set of people who *also* don't care, who will make their lives (and the world) markedly worse.
It's hard to say what will happen under Trump.
I know in the first administration the economic situation was good before covid.
Right now there's a lot of economic uncertainty, and I think Tariffs are the bad part of his economic policy but he also said he will protect Bitcoin rights, reduce taxes, and government expenditure, and promote domestic oil production.
So he's got a mix of policies, we'll see how it plays out, I'm hoping for the better but if it's for the worse then hey the democrats will probably win in 2028 then.
Yeah. I'd hope for higher taxes on the wealthier and lower on the poorer, with a stronger mix of social programs and a real social safety net. I don't think that's going to come to fruition.
