Societal evolution is driven by social consensus as such the oligarchy must constantly distort the reality of this consensus through the media lens to bent the consensus to fit their objectives. Without the ability to alter the perception of the true consensus, the oligarch class would have little influence on the societal evolution as the #plebs greatly overwhelm the former in numbers. For this reason, turning off the oligarch’s media (mockingbird and #bigtech) is an effective way to realign societal evolution with the desires of plebs and defeat the oligarchs’ plans.
