I don't think it's love per se. It feels like just click in the ultimate connection. They're so built to be the best boys until the end.
I think they do feel affection. My dogs randomly come and start licking me
Sure. Pups mostly "kiss" to get food from parents, grownups do it to make the alfa like them more. Or maybe you're sometimes just salty or they think you need some groomingđŸ˜€ No, I'm sure that well raised and loved dog can give back more than most of the people. May it be "just" loyalty and attention. Our dog is a stray and part chihuahua and he's still so awesome, guarding us all 24/7 with his whole tiny heart and like five teeth left.
