I remember when we used to use the thumbs up to mean "you can't do shit" as children, then with the Internet came YouTube and Hollywood movies and the meaning changed to approval/agreement, and then social media changed it again to mean something passive aggressive for younger kids

This gesture on the coin is supposed to represent something from bharatanatyam if I am not wrong, I wonder if it ever meant "one" in some parts of India at any point
