De-plastic-ifying your life is no easy task. So don’t be discouraged when you come to the realization that most odds-and-ends things you own are made of plastic.

Just start with the key items: Sleeping materials, toothbrush, underwear, cups, eating utensils. Then progress from there.

Toothbrush may be the toughest one, but I’ll give you a hint: There are wooden toothbrushes, but the bristles are made of boars’ hairs.
