When the cops stop you, do they ask for an ID card or driver's licence?
Yes, we have driving licenses, but don’t need to carry or show them.

Do they let you go? Like say a traffic stop
We never have it on us. They write us a ticket and we are supposed to show up at a police station with a few days with our driving license.

Like in South Africa, you can't operate any vehicle without having the license on you. If you're stopped and you don't have it, big trouble.
