#start9 servers are expensive because they got no black box near the cpu, but yes you can run startOS on any x86 computer.

if you buy used cpu and mainboard you could build it for 300 USD i thin. but with only 100USD you will lack performance anyway. even the 2TB ssd is like 90USD

I'm researching nwc compatible wallets, it lists start9 but I don't see a wallet link anywhere, do you need to be using start-os to use start9 wallet?
