Buying a house where I’m from Median price is $120k USD. 15% of purchase price is fees to the government plus interest rates which range anywhere between 11% and 18% when it’s going very badly yet renting is a fraction of the cost of owning. Plus there hasn’t been true capital appreciation in real estate since 1994…
