Here's how I think about government:

1. “…that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness…” and therefore tyranny is wrong.

2. Just because 99 out of 100 want everyone to do something, it doesn't give them the right to enforce their will on the 1 who disagrees. That is still tyranny. Therefore all government must be unanimous.

3. Therefore, any law can start being tyranny against a person as soon as that person stops consenting to it.

4. Given point 3, what is the point of having a government at all? If anyone can stop consenting to a law at any time, it might be simpler to have no government at all. Any existing government might have to constantly be changing laws.

I'm not entirely convinced about point 4, but the more I am convinced about it, the more of an anarchist I become.
