Agreed. I haven’t parted with any sats yet this cycle, but when it’s my turn I’ll part with more sats to regret in the future.

I learned my lesson in 2017 when I bought my wife a new minivan. For roughly 7 bitcoin. Which was after learning a lesson in 2013 when I sold 50 bitcoin for a trip to Disney world and lawn care service & gym membership for the remainder of residency. Which was after my 2011 lesson of selling 100 bitcoin to make a mortgage payment after being nearly bankrupted by medical bills for my baby daughter.

I guess you could say I’m a shockingly slow learner, but really blessed to have been there early.

Respect, you are living with bitcoin. I salute your foresight and your use to survive. That's life. I hope I bought your sats to continue this distribution 🤙

Hope so. I stacked hard from 2019 until 2025 though. I may be a slow learner but I’m a persistent learner :)

You're a true bitcoiner 🔥

Bitcoin has succeeded beyond my wildest dreams. My hope when mining bitcoin briefly in 2010 was to contribute to something that might be able to scale large enough to permit unbanked kids like the one I used to be to be able to store hundreds or maybe even thousands of dollars of value by using their brains instead of their brawn (or in my case lack thereof).

We all see bitcoin from our own biased perspective. But bitcoin changes you. Slowly but inevitably. I was naive to think bitcoin needed my help to grow, but I’m glad satoshi cleverly balanced incentives to make growing spheres of humanity serve bitcoin and thereby serve each other.
