To my knowledge, we do not have a tornado warning system in place where I live. If the fire whistle blew, there would be way of knowing that it wasn’t simply a fire somewhere.

Is it all done on our phones now? Do we get one of those crazy alerts that tells you to get into your bathtub? We have a cellar, but to be honest, I don’t know how much I trust it. It’s a heavy, old-ass house, and would probably be hard to budge, but it feels too close down there.
