Did you know Ukraine was the third largest nuclear power in the world after the fall of the USSR?

But they gave all their nuclear weapons to Russia in exchange for a promise to never be invaded.

I bet they feel a little silly about arming their now occupiers.

Why is NATO at Russia's doorstep? Never saw so much outrage from westerners over US invading countries thousands of miles from home over bogus security claims or to "restore democracy", killing millions of civilians.

Two wrongs don't make a right but from Russia's perspective having NATO set up shop near their borders is a matter of national security.

I would also encourage you to talk to people from both Russia and Ukraine around the Donbass to get an understanding of what's been happening the last 10 years.

I’m no fan of nato threatening Russia by building up around a historically repeatedly used geographic invasion route. I was just pointing out the stupidity of unilateral disarmament.

The arch aggressor of the world is the United States and I don't see many Americans confronting the fact.

As much as I think Russia should show greater inclination towards peace despite being backed into a corner, reflect upon why people in Asia, Africa, middle east and parts of Latin America are anti-USA in this US/NATO vs Russia proxy war
