Fiber Network offers several improvements over Bitcoin's Lightning Network:

- Native support for various assets, including CKB, BTC, and stablecoins.

- Lower fees, faster response times, and reduced channel costs.

- Lower node operation costs and minimal storage requirements.

- Cross-domain atomic payments with BTC's Lightning Network.

- Off-chain liquidity management.

- Current use of Hash Time Locked Contract (HTLC) with future support for Point Time Locked Contract (PTLC) for enhanced privacy.

- Countermeasures against "replacement cycling attack" at the transaction pool level.
