One of the most heartbreaking consequences of fiat money is that a lot of people are incapable of receiving genuine, pure love (of any kind).

Most relationships they’ve ever had had to be very high time preference. If there’s no agenda to the care and effort, they reject it as a suspected threat. They believed that, unless someone wants something from them, no one has time to generously spend with them and make them feel appreciated. For the pure sake of love.

Everyone must be underwater trying to get by. That’s how the modern times work, right?

Fiat money masterfully suffocates the abundance out of love.

I’m reminded of this every single time I meet someone new who isn’t a bitcoiner: if I come to them ready to give, they take their distance and go back to their shell in a matter of days. Bitcoiners know better. 🧡
