This just broke an old project of mine that I forgot about and now I have to spend an hour or whatever to figure out where the thing is hosted, how I’ve set it up years ago, how to fix it, bla blah ARGH i hate it.

Python is shit & one big reason for it is this whole beating a dead version thing. They should've deprecated that a million years ago.
