It’s simple really, you don’t like a client, don’t use it. Even better, if you have the expertise, fork it and create your own version that suits your ideals.

You have a lot of choices and alternatives in Nostr.

And let’s stop those toxic debates.

I think it is an important debate, this is (IMO) precisely the crux of what #nostr will have to figure out as a permissionless protocol.

I agree that forking clients is always an option, but it's kind of a nuclear option, and any ideas that lead to less fragmentation seem worth discussing. For instance I've seen the term "WoT" being thrown out a few times, but don't know what that entails exactly

Don’t know what #WOT means too 😂. It’s impossible to agree on what censorship means in the context of a client. It’s a subjective concept and it reflects the devs point of view.
