Tell me what y’all think about this, I need to vent:
Old boss asks friend n i to go work at new place, now hiring manager says only one of us can come. I’m annoyed cuz I’m not going to compete w a friend for a job so yea that left a bad taste in my mouth.
Friendship is more important imo but yea the situation sucks
Oof I feel like this should have been clarified with the hiring manager before hand, asking if they could absolutely take you both. This now puts you guys in a rough situation! I agree with others though, talk with the friend and see how they are feeling, but a job is not something worth losing a friendship over.
